Focus on quality and innovation
NEWMEN was founded in 2016 by Michi Grätz. Within a year, the first products were launched, and the brand quickly gained momentum. In 2021, NEWMEN moved to a new production and development facility of 1,200 m², and by 2024 the team had grown to 98 employees. The range includes a wide selection of components such as wheels, handlebars, stems, pedals and cranks for mountain bikes, gravel bikes and road bikes.
NEWMEN is known as a strong OEM partner behind the scenes, developing high-quality wheels and components for major bike brands. At the same time, with a production capacity of 400,000 wheels per year, its own test centre and full independence as a brand, NEWMEN is also firmly focused on the aftermarket.
German technology, designed and tested in-house
All NEWMEN components are developed in-house in Germany, in the Allgäu region. Wheels with carbon spokes are built by hand at the headquarters, while wheels with steel spokes are assembled in the brand’s own facility in the Czech Republic.
Every product undergoes extensive testing in NEWMEN’s own test lab. The brand not only uses its own testing equipment but also applies standards that exceed industry requirements. The result is a range of durable, lightweight and well-engineered products that perform reliably in real-world conditions. Many team members are active cyclists themselves and understand the demands placed on high-quality components.
